Una mappa immaginaria, la figura stilizzata del Monte Cervino, frutto dell’elaborazione di uno scatto in proiezione di una pellicola in Super8 del 1965 al quale vengono aggiunti 12 cerchi a simboleggiare graficamente un sacro 12 pitagorico, viene suddivisa e stampata in 25 parti, poi riassemblate con colla su pannello. Il percorso ideale di evoluzione personale e crescita interiore, all’interno di un’immagine ricomposta, rappresenta la difficoltà di mettere ordine alle nostre vite, tra molti elementi dati, questo sì, ma in ordine sparso. Su questa mappa è stato creato un tracciato, piombo, filo di lana, puntine, che sono tappe, corsi e ricorsi, tentativi, esperienze ed errori, a significare che benché tutto sia dato, la strada per ognuno di noi non è lineare, il percorso mai scontato, la meta non di certa realizzazione. L’opera si compone di 1 immagine/installazione + 1 video, interpretato dalla stessa autrice. La musica originale è del Maestro Andrea Talmelli.   

 

Il Video di “Tutto è Dato”, in linea di continuità con la ricerca grafica, rivela quanto il trascendente e il quotidiano coabitino lo stesso spazio in dimensioni differenti e come in alcuni istanti dei nostri giorni, vengano a incontrarsi. E’ proprio la qualità del nostro sguardo, della nostra ricerca esistenziale a consentire alla materia comune di fare spazio a una coscienza superiore, che si infiltra come acqua, come luce, a nutrire di un senso nuovo il nostro andare. La location scelta per la realizzazione del video è volutamente casalinga, un salotto, una libreria, il monitor di un computer acceso, stanno a ricordare che non serve andare lontano, quanto invece aprire i nostri sensi, attraverso il nostro corpo, bussola attendibile, per procedere e crescere nel mistero dell’Esistere.

[Everything is given] An imaginary map, the stylized image of the Matterhorn – the outcome of elaborating a photo of a Super8 film projection from 1965, to which are added 12 circles as a graphical symbol of sacred Pythagorean 12, then is divided and printed in 25 parts that are glued back together on a panel. The ideal path of personal evolution and inner growth, within a recomposed image, represents the difficulty of making order in our lives among a number of elements, which are many, but come to us in a random order. In this map there’s a blueprint, made of lead, woollen yarn, pins, which are stages, occurences and recurrences, attempts, experiences and errors, to signify that even though everything is given, the way for each of us isn’t linear, the path never predictable, the destination not certain be reached. The work is made of  1 image/installation + 1 film clip, where the interpreter is the author herself. The original music is by Maestro Andrea Talmelli.

 

The film clip in “Everything is given”, in continuity with the graphical research, reveals how much the trascendent and the daily issues live within the same space but in different dimensions, and how at times, for a few instants, they come together. It is the quality of our gaze, of our existential research, that allows matter to make space for a superior conscience, leaking in as water, seeping as light, nourishing our journey in a new way. The location chosen for shooting is intentionally domestic, a living room, a library, a turned on computer monitor, there to remember that we don’t need to go far, and must instead open our senses through our body, a reliable compass, in order to go ahead and grow in the mistery of Existing.
